What is real food?
In a nutshell, real food is any food that is minimally-processed before it's consumed.
Real food includes meats, fish, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, eggs, milk and some other dairy products.
7 Days of Real Food is designed for busy adults who've forgotten (or never learned) how to buy, prepare and eat real food at home.
Real food prepared at home can actually save you time and money.
This book is more of a beginner's guide, not for advanced gourmet chefs.
The aim of this book is to help you transition from the modern American fast food diet to one that's centered on whole, real food.

It's not 100% gluten-free, although gluten is limited and not a key feature of any meal.
It's not 100% paleo but since it's about real food, the meal plans generally reflect paleo values.
I'm not opposed to paleo, vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free philosophies. In fact, I'm currently gluten-free myself as I work to reverse Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
The 7 Days of Real Food Guide is NOT a weight-loss plan and it's not for someone who's looking for a vegan, vegetarian, or raw foods diet.
If you have known food allergies, you'll have to modify some of the meal plans.
