Abandoned Cart

This is a paid feature. The Abandoned Cart app comes included in the Standard and Pro plan.

Over 67% of online shopping carts are abandoned before the customer completes a sale. Win back customers by sending customizable email reminders. Customers can quickly complete their unplaced order with a few clicks. With a fully automated system, you won’t miss out on sales as no interaction from you is required except setting up the automatic Abandoned Cart emails.

With Abandoned Cart emails, you can:

  • Automatically contact customers to complete their purchase

Getting Abandoned Cart

  • Log into your Selz account
  • Click on Plans
  • Purchase a plan with offers Abandoned Cart
  • Once you’ve purchased, you can begin customizing the emails

Customizing Abandoned Cart emails

  • Log into your Selz account
  • Click on Settings > Emails > Abandoned Cart. You’ll see two options: Initial and Follow Up. The Initial email is the first email we will automatically send your customer, depending on the email delay you set. Your Follow Up email is the second, and last, email a customer will receive that did not purchase.

  • You’re done! All customers who abandon their cart after entering their email address during checkout will receive a follow up email as set by you. You can change the frequency or text in your emails at any time by coming back to your Settings > Emails.

Testing Abandoned Cart emails

If you want to see what your customer will see, send yourself a test. You can send a test email to yourself by clicking on ‘Send Test’ and entering up to 5 email addresses you want to receive the test email at. Here’s what it’ll look like:
