Adding a product to your Selz account couldn’t be easier. You’ll be done in just a couple of minutes – promise!
Here’s how to get started:
Step 1. Create a Selz account, or log in, and go to your dashboard.
Step 2. Click on Items over on the left, then “Sell an Item”. Choose what kind of product you’re selling. You can choose from Physical, Digital, or a Service.
Step 3. Details. This tab is where you add all your primary item details like the name, description, and price.
- Make sure your item description is clear and easy for buyers to understand. Be sure to describe the benefits – emotional and logical – of the product.
- Add images of the product, or a video or audio clip, so your potential buyers have a clear idea of what you’re selling. You can add up to 8 images and 1 video or audio file. You can also embed straight from YouTube or Vimeo by pasting a link.
Step 4. Pricing. Choose any special pricing displays. Here’s where you can enable Pay What You Want, choose to show an “original” price along with the price you’re currently selling for, or allow a discount field to display in your item page.
Step 5. Categories. Here’s where you can add this item to a category if you wish. You’ll need to have created a category beforehand. Otherwise, you can save your listing, create a category, then come back and place your item in it.
Step 6. Variants. Add product variants like colors, sizes, and type.
Step 7. SEO. Get your product found more easily by being smart with SEO. Add a page title, meta description, and custom URL for your product.
Step 8. Save your product and you’re done! You’ll be able to see your product in your storefront immediately.
